Becoming Mentoring Program Expected Launch: September 2026

The Becoming Mentoring Program provides structured, trauma-informed mentoring experiences that promote personal growth, leadership development, healthy decision-making, and social-emotional well-being. Youth ages 12–18 participate in age-based cohorts and are supported by trained adult mentors through engaging activities, discussions, and skill-building opportunities.


Hopeful Financial Futures Expected Launch: October 2026

Hopeful Financial Futures equips youth and young adults ages 12–25 to participate in age-based cohorts with practical financial knowledge and life skills. Participants engage in interactive learning focused on budgeting, saving, goal setting, banking, and financial responsibility. Priority enrollment is available to participants involved in DOH mentoring programs.


JOYWINs/ A Work of HeART Experiences

JOYWINs (Just enjoying Our Youth While Acquiring Individual Needs) activities are integrated throughout DOH programs to enhance engagement, relationship-building, leadership development, and personal growth. These youth-centered experiences may include arts, cultural activities, creative expression, team-building, and other interactive opportunities designed to strengthen learning, participation, and meaningful connections. These creative approaches attract and engage young people, build

trust, and empower them to find and use their voice.
